Indications
Indications
The drug has an antihypertensive and antianginal effect. Indicated for use in adults with a diagnosis of:- arterial hypertension (both in monotherapy and in combination with other antihypertensive drugs);
- stable angina pectoris and vasospastic angina pectoris (Prinzmetal angina or variant angina pectoris) both in monotherapy and in combination with other antianginal drugs.

the initial dose is 5 mg per day, depending on the therapeutic response, the dose can be increased to a maximum daily dose of 10 mg
- Elderly patients

it is recommended to use the drug in normal doses, changing the dose of amlodipine is not required
- Patients with impaired liver function

in patients with moderate liver failure, the recommended initial dose of amlodipine is 2,5 mg per day
- Patients with impaired renal function

With simultaneous administration with thiazide diuretics, beta-blockers and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, additional dose adjustment of the drug is not required.
